- The first time I remember painting from life was in the 6th grade the teacher brought in a big boquet of flowers in the Spring and set it up in the middle of a large round table. We set up all around the table and painted with tempra paints. I was thrilled! The rest of the kids gathered around me and said how do you do that? I said, "Just do it" Hmm--- I'm still painting flowers along with portraits, still lifes, street scenes, landscapes...It's a great big world out there and its all waiting to be painted. Oh the thrill of it! I have created this blog to basically come out of my shell and let you see my daily creations and to make them avaiable to you. I hope you will enjoy! Donna
