The Garden at St. Davids in Austin TX

I have not been able to do much blogging here as of late.  I spent a month with my daughter Rachel in Austin.  She had her baby 5 weeks early and we spent 4 weeks in the NICU.  

I am happy to say baby and Mother are well and at home.  There were not many moments that I had available during that time to do artwork, but I did get a chance to do a couple of watercolors.  

Hopefully I will be soon posting some Mother and child paintings.  Certainly I have some inspiration to do some!  Newborn babies are so wonderful, and they have a way of stopping time.  It seemed like the month of May sort of evaporated in the Texas sun -- and I wouldn't have spent it any other way.  Donna
